2025 Hajj Policy Announced

The Pakistan Hajj Policy 2025, recently announced by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, sets a total quota of 179,210 pilgrims, split equally between government and private schemes. The estimated cost for Hajj ranges from Rs1,075,000 to Rs1,175,000, with an additional Rs55,000 for the sacrificial offering. To ease the financial burden, a three-part installment plan is offered: Rs200,000 with the application, Rs400,000 post-balloting, and the balance by February 10, 2025. Key policy features include prioritized slots for first-time pilgrims, health and safety measures that prohibit children under 12, and enhanced support with a new “Nazim” role for assisting groups of 100 pilgrims. Additionally, a Hajj Management App will provide real-time support, and a “Road to Makkah” facility at Islamabad and Karachi airports will expedite immigration.
